Where Does the Money Go?
As the seller, you may designate the K‐State fund to which you wish to donate the bid price from your vehicle’s sale. You will be allowed to choose specific funds within colleges and departments upon the completion of your vehicle’s sale.
The Cars for Cats program disburses 100 percent of the bid price to K‐State on behalf of the person selling the vehicle. Below are general categories that help describe where your bid price can be applied.
• Student Success
Your support for students will establish scholarships and fellowships; fund new student recruitment programs; and foster participation in a variety of leadership and academic opportunities. Your investment in this area enables students to participate in the total K‐Staet experience.
• Faculty Development
K‐State has a critical need for private support to enhance resources to recruit and retain outstanding faculty. Eminent faculty members attract exceptional students and bring esteem to the university through internationally significant research and teaching.
• The Learning Environment
Provide support for new and updated facilities and the technological infrastructure. Both are vital to sustain our core campus buildings and provide the total environment for learning and research that will secure our position as one of the top ten land‐grant institutions in the nation.
